Description of Works

North Shore Paving was contracted by TfNSW to undertake the Stage 2 Car Park works which followed on from the major upgrade of Mulgoa Road, Castlereagh Road and Jane Street at Penrith. In addition to the car park works, the scope also included various roadworks and footpath works on Mulgoa Rd and other surrounding roads in Penrith.

The extensive scope of works was largely carried out by North Shore Paving’s own asphalting and civil crews. One of the features of the project was the construction of a bioswale vital for providing filtration of stormwater runoff from the car park before entering Peach Tree Creek / Nepean River.

As the works were adjacent to the rail corridor, we were able to provide access to the site to Sydney Trains for the duration of the project.
