Description of Works

North Shore Paving was contracted by Hawkesbury City Council to undertake major upgrades of the sports courts at 3 locations across the Council area;

  • Maraylya: 2 tennis courts
  • Freemans Reach: 1 tennis court and 1 multi-purpose court (basketball and Futsal)
  • Blaxlands Ridge: 1 multi-purpose court (tennis and basketball)

The scope of works varied across the 3 locations and included; profiling of the existing asphalt, demolition of existing fencing, subgrade rectification and base course works, asphalting, acrylic sports surfacing, court equipment installation and perimeter chain wire fence installation.

The works were carried out simultaneously across the 3 locations and flexibility of utilising North Shore Paving’s own civil and asphalting crews and great relationships with the subcontractors allowed us to complete the works in a timely manner for the Hawkesbury City Council.
