Description of Works

The scope of works for this project involved the construction of the extension of Murray Rose Avenue from a new office development to a new connection with Bennelong Parkway, as well as the extension of Park View Drive. Within this extension of Murray Rose Avenue, North Shore Paving constructed extensive service infrastructure including electrical services, stormwater services with a stormfilter and potable and recycled water services. All roadworks utilised roadbase pavement layers with an asphaltic concrete wearing course. A variety of different kerb and gutter works were undertaken including architectural and permeable kerbs.Large gabion basket walls were constructed which incorporated a water detention basin and a seamless interface with existing gabion basket walls.Simultaneous construction with an adjacent office development required interface planning and logistics collaboration with Lend Lease.
